C.H.O.P.'s Performing Arts Youth Camp

The City of Hope Outreach Project, Inc. (CHOP) is conducting a summer camp at St. Mark's Institutional Baptist Church. The camp began on July 6th and will continue through August 20th. The camp utilizes the performing arts to encourage language skills, socializing and creativity. Some of the activities the children experience include art, music, dance and drama.

Assistant director, Terry Holmes, shares some of the crafts created by the children.

CHOP's summer camp provides additional learning time for the children. Assistant director, Monica J. Neale, assists one group of children as they ask questions and make decisions about Lego structures.

The children enjoy outdoor activites at the camp. Lunch is over and it's time to relax.
