Sweet Raine

Located in the heart of Baltimore,
just minutes from theaters, restaurants and the Harbor, is the elegant boutique—Sweet Raine. Upon entering, the atmosphere is private. The background music is soothing and the lighting perfect for shopping. You appreciate the individual attention received.

Displayed along the walls above the hardwood flooring are dresses, skirts, suits and other clothing. Decorative accessories and artwork are charmingly mingled.

Jennifer Burns, the proprietor of Sweet Raine, opened her boutique ten months ago. "Before opening the shop, I practiced law for three years," Jennifer states. "I have always dreamed of owning my own business."

Jennifer's love for clothes, shopping, jewelry and attractive things motivated her to start a business. She also received encouragement from her mother-in-law, who is also a small business owner.

You'll find one-of-a-kind designed fashions for women at Sweet Raine. The designers use high quality, all natural, breathablefabrics and have expert craftsmanship, sewing and tailoring skills.

The designers use bright colors. "We do a lot of custom ordering to accommodate everyone. Size does not matter," Jennifer goes on.

Fashion shows, trunk shows and teas are held periodically where the clothing, jewelry and skin care products are promoted.

Jennifer is a young entrepreneur and enjoys the business world. "Being in business is rewarding," Jennifer comments. "It's good being the final decision maker and being your own boss."

The next time you need that one-of-a kind outfit for a special occasion, visit Sweet Raine at 213 West Read Street.
