Make
Your Holiday List

Make
your List. Check it twice.

Feel
like you don't know if you're coming or going during the Holidays?
The holiday season is so full of activities that it can just
get overwhelming. Save yourself some time this year with a
holiday checklist to keep you on track:
-
What's your budget? Make a gift list and determine how much
money you can spend. Don't spend one penny more. A detailed
list should keep you from those impulse purchases that are
so easy to make at this time of year.
-
Find the bargains. Don't wait until the last minute to do
your gift shopping. Get started early. Watch your newspaper
and television for special sales. Don't forget to check out
eBay and Amazon for some great deals, too.
-
Plan your holiday meals. Be prepared for your family dinner
by planning every dish. If you are going to request that every
family member bring something to the dinner, make those phone
calls early in December.
-
Get holiday packages mailed on time. Visit the US Postal Service
web page for recommended mailing dates - www.usps.com. It's
best to mail early to ensure packages will be delivered before
Christmas.
The
most important thing you can do to prepare for the holidays
is to create detailed lists. Some list ideas you might need
are:
-
Christmas gifts (don't forget friends, bosses and teachers!)
- Menus
- Holiday errands
- Christmas card list
- Guest list for Christmas dinner
- Thank you list
